MSN secures online syndication rights to Arrested Development

Marketing Vox is reporting that MSN has secured the online syndication rights to Fox’s canceled (boy what a mistake) cult television show Arrested Development. This gives MSN the rights to add all 53 episodes of Arrested to MSN’s store featuring free, ad-supported video-episodes. This marks the first time that a major studio has sold a show’s syndication rights to a web portal, at least according to AdAge. Way to go MSN! Arrested was also picked up by HDNet for HDTV syndication and by G4 for normal broadcast syndication.
