Snacksby – Like MacGyver, but for food

Snacksby

Snacksby is an interesting addition to the new breed of web applications. Basically a recipe site, with a twist, Snacksby asks that you enter in what you have in your pantry or cupboard and it returns to you a list of recipes containing those ingredients. For instance, if I had sharp cheddar (soy) cheese, multigrain bread, onions, pepper, dijon mustard, and butter (margarine), Snacksby informs me that I have all of the ingredients to cook a quick and easy “Grilled Cheese sandwich, Alton Brown style-ish” as well as a partial list of ingredients for over 9 more pages of recipes. Kudos Snacksby, you just made a lazy household’s cooking even easier!

nice idea. and oh, apparently, soya’s bad for you, the raw stuff and milk at least. fun mix between crazed anti-vegetarianism and perhaps some actually worrying news:

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I a lot choose the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool functions like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users connected to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one particular of those will center on that item, and an additional set of “neighbors” will arrive into view, allowing you to navigate close to exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” can be good enjoyable, letting you locate other people with shared tastes and becoming close friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created depending on an amalgamation of what all your close friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Individuals concerned with privacy will be relieved to understand you’ll be able to prevent the public from seeing your individual listening habits in case you so pick.

Hey, I just desired to let you know, I actually like the written material on your website. But I’m utilising Chromium on a machine running version 9.04 of Ubuntu as well as the look and sense aren’t pretty satisfying. Not a strong deal, I can still essentially read the articles and search for info, but just wanted to inform you about that. The navigation bar is type of challenging to use while using config I’m running. Keep up the superb perform!
