Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” recreated with Lego
August 3rd - 6 Responses

In the Spring of 2001, someone with much more patience than I have recreated Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” using only Lego, which then ended up hanging on the wall of their home. The project took months and an estimated 10,000 Lego bricks to complete, with the process being captured in pictures for all of the world to enjoy. Unfortunately, the Lego-hacker who created the piece seems to have moved on from his projects, with the last update of his site being in 2002.

Discovered your blog and decided to have a very fast read, not what a typically do but wonderful one. Great to see a weblog to get a change that isn’t full of spam and rubbish, and actually makes some sense. Anyway, nice write up.

Hi, i’ve been browsing around your blog and it seem really really neat. I’m making a family blog and struggling to make it look great. How hard was it to create your blog? Could someone like me, an amateur do that? I really wanna to make something like this. Just wanna tell u your home page seem broken when I browse using Mozilla.

Im not gonna lie, youve lost me right here. I know that you just meant well and you obviously know what youre talking about, but I cant say that I get where youre coming from. If you want men and women to realize your points, you should take into consideration the other side with the argument, too. Youve got a wealth of knowledge, Ill give you that. But, very frankly, you turned me off together with your tone.
