Heroes online graphic novels

Heroes Graphic Novel

Heroes is without a doubt one of the most exciting shows of this newish television season. Now that Lost is beginning to fizzle out a little, Heroes is here to continue the charge, providing pounds of excitement and suspense every week as well as one of the coolest characters on television to date (HIRO!!!! Who else?). As a way of extending the story (and their advertising revenue), NBC is offering small Heroes graphic novels every week, which serve to push the storyline of each episode slightly farther, giving us a little more insight into the large amount of characters on the show. The novels are available to read over the web OR available as PDF downloads, which is of course the true way to read a comic folks!

Hasselhoff reveals that KITT was homosexual

Jump in my car

In a recent appearance at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, David Hasselhoff of the 1980s television series Knight Rider, revealed to a “stunned” room of fans that KITT was in fact, homosexual. Whether or not Hasselhoff was joking is unclear nor did he explain how automobiles can have a gender type and sexual preference. I mean, what does this then mean for the whole KITT vs KARR storyline!? The Hoff has seemed a bit unstable lately, with many people attributing his erratic behavior to an oft-rumored drinking problem. His problems seem to only get worse a few days after dropping the KITT = gay bomb when he fell asleep on the set of GMTV during a commercial break where he was appearing for an interview about his autobiography and new single, “I want to drive you home”.

What exactly is George W. Bush’s job? Jon Stewart asks the hard questions

Jon Stewart and George W. Bush BFF

On a recent Daily Show, Jon Stewart asks some really hard questions, such as, what exactly is the president’s job? Curiously, it doesn’t seem that anyone really knows what it is, other than a few vague comments and lots of fund-raising, but, we’re told it’s not our business to really even care. But is that enough for Jon Stewart, noooo, of course not, it’s never enough.

Watch a clip from a recent Daily Show and wonder along with Jon after the jump..

NBC picks up Heroes for a full season!

Heroes on NBC

Yeah! We’re big big fans of Heroes and most certainly think it’s one of the breakaway hits so far this season, so we were happy to hear that NBC recently announced they are upping their order of episodes up to 22, giving Heroes a full first season. This is a great sign for a show that’s only just getting to their third aired episode of the season. Heroes is pulling in viewers, averaging around 13.5 million, putting it at the top of it’s Monday time slot and number 1 as the new series among the coveted adults 18-49 demo (tied with an ABC show we don’t care about).
