For those who haven’t kept up, the arts and crafts scene has evolved. Crafts no longer means 80 year old ladies going to Michael’s (or comparable stores) to buy new crocheting patterns of the grand canyon or the American flag. Younger and younger folk are getting involved, twisting and turning traditional forms of craft-wizardry into fresh new styles and directions. Our favorite for today, the Punkey Monkey dolls from crafster Clarity Miller. Featuring heaps of punk attitude, safety pins and dyed hair, the ‘Sid & Nancy’ pair of the Punkey Monkey series is brilliant for any fashionable punk these days. The dolls are stuffed with 100% polyester and aren’t recommended for children. Well, maybe for punk children.

The interface is colorful, has far more pizzazz, and some awesome features like ‘Mixview’ which let you swiftly see connected cds, tracks, or other users associated to what you are listening to. Clicking on 1 of them will center on that item, and another set of “friends” will come into view, permitting you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, tunes, or users. By the way, the Zune “Social” can also be fantastic fun, letting you locate other people with shared preferences and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created depending on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Individuals worried with privacy are going to be relieved to know you’ll be able to stop the public from seeing your individual listening habits should you so decide on.
