Line Rider, the amazing Flash application / “toy” created by Slovenian college student Boštjan Cadež as a class project is one of the internet’s fastest growing gaming crazes. By sketching out lines on a simple flash app, you can create infinite Winter wonderlands for your little character to use and abuse via his sled. Recently announced for the Nintendo DS and Wii, Line Rider is already a cult classic, which has seen players posting over 20,000 self-created videos at YouTube.

This is fake. Incredibly fake. Notice how on many many occasions he goes THROUGH the lines, and doesn’t fall off his sleigh when he should.

Actually if you draw a line starting in a certain direction, the line becomes background instead of foreground. So it won’t affect where the sledder goes.

if you have ever played the game, read the directions at the very beginning…right to left = ground (can go through if going up) left to right = roof (can go through as long as not going up)

This video is created using the newest version of line rider, which, among other things, has a special “background drawer” tool, as well as an accelerating line tool.

its definitely not fake, its the newer version of the game anyway wehre there are lines specfically designated as “scenery”. and yes, it still is amazing as hell.
