It’s been around the web a few million times, but we’ve gotten a handful of tips regarding Discovery HD’s beautifully done 3D simulation showing Earth’s destruction by a massive asteroid impact. With soundtrack provided by Pink Floyd, you watch as the impact creates massive destruction, followed by a flowing wall of superheated air and gases which circumvents the globe, roasting most, if not all living things to a crisp. This video should make quite a few 12.21.2012 believers salivate with apocalyptic fervor!

This version is edited and not very good because they cut out the last part which is the ocean evaporating.
Look up Tool Aenima on you tube as it is hits you harder emotionally. Besides… that Tool song is actually about this topic and the Pink Floyd song doesn’t really fit with the apocalypse theme.
