We were beginning to panic a litttle when we read all the rumours that Braff would be leaving Scrubs after this year to focus on his movie career, but, it seems we jumped the gun a little. In a recent interview for TVguide, the man himself cleared up the mis-quote, reassuring us that he’s not leaving Scrubs but planting the little seed that, hey, it’s a possibility after all. To quote Braff:

That was [taken] a little bit out of context. What I said was that this is the first year where it’ll be up to me. I’m not necessarily leaving. It’s all up in the air; nothing’s decided.

Braff also covered his love of Arrested Development and some interesting details about trying to get every Arrested Development character to appear on Scrubs at least once (way to go!).

It’s always a touch boring when my favorite shows are in the off-season. But it seems the drama of Lost continues behind the scenes with scores of reports of inner strife, quitting contracts, long (show-killing) pauses in programming and much more juicy bits of gossip emerging. With using terms like, drama, long pauses, and juicy gossip in a sentance, I can of course only mean Lost, the island-drama super hit, which seems intent on crash landing before the story can complete itself.

We start off with the announcement that Lost will take a 13 WEEK HIATUS next year at the middle of season 3! Say what!? According to ABC this is what the fans wanted, as we apparentely decided we hate repeats and would like the show erased from the winter lineup completely. I think any fan would tell you they hate overly long breaks in programming more than sitting through a repeat. But that’s just my opinion.

Either a viral marketing gimmick or an extremely large case of bad luck. A silicon valley man was apparently at work, reading Vallywag, the premier silicon valley gossip rag, when he suddenly read something that caused him to burst out in uncontrollable laughter. Problem being his boss was hanging out behind him and seemed to have had a bad day. Few minutes later and a pink slip in hand, the man is on the street and naturally behind his computer, creating a new blog, Valley Hag, where we’ll all be able to follow his search for a new job, acceptance in life and as many donations from concerned users as possible. Good luck sir! Disclaimer: I don’t know where this person worked so I’m not stating that he was fired FROM Google.
