Co-creator of Seinfeld, Larry David, in all his insanity, makes you either love him or hate him. There really is nothing in between. Premiering in September, the seventh season of his HBO series, Curb Your Enthusiasm, will bring the cast of Seinfeld back together. Five episodes will follow a storyline about the Seinfeld troup reuniting for the first time in eleven years.
We’re waiting with bated breath! Following their 2001 Emmy-Award winning Band of Brothers, Tom Hanks’ and Steven Spielberg’s latest mini-series, The Pacific, will be aired March 2010 on HBO! Military Technical Advisor, Dale Dye, had this to say:
…it’s very different from “Band.” It’s as different as World War II in the Pacific was from World War II in Europe. It’s much darker and more brutal but that was the nature of fighting on those Pacific islands. Just ask any veteran for confirmation of that. …Hanks [...] likes to say it will take the audience on a brutal journey to hell and back; the same sort of journey that was experienced by the men who fought the real battles.
HBO’s president of international distribution claims The Pacific to be ”the biggest production in the history of television. [...] It’s like making 10 major movies at once.”
